Job Description

The Customer Success Manager for the Commercial market at Planet will manage and expand relationships with customers in sectors like agriculture, insurance, and energy, ensuring they maximize the value of Planet's geospatial solutions. The role involves acting as a trusted advisor, facilitating training, and advocating for customer needs within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand relationships with customers in agriculture, insurance, and energy verticals.
  • Help customers maximize the value of Planet's imagery and geospatial solutions.
  • Facilitate training, onboarding, and best practices for integrating Planet data into workflows.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for feature enhancements and product improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to support customer needs and case studies.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales teams for renewals and upsells.
  • Share insights on key accounts and contribute to strategies for future success.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in Customer Success, account management or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS or geospatial imagery products.
  • Excellent technical background, experience with remote sensing platforms and solutions.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers sales teams.
  • Solid problem solving skills, proactive work style and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to partner with leading global companies on scaling innovative technologies, understanding industry workflows and needs.
  • Experience in earth observation and related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
