Job Description
The Senior Manager of Data & Analytics will lead enterprise-scale data science and analytics initiatives, focusing on modernizing data infrastructure and developing scalable analytics models. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in data science and engineering, along with strong business acumen to influence senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- •Lead enterprise-scale data science and analytics initiatives.
- •Direct and mentor the data science team in designing and deploying analytics models.
- •Design scalable data pipelines and workflows for large-scale data processing.
- •Oversee the development of predictive and prescriptive models.
- •Drive scalable analytics solutions using big data technologies.
- •Supervise automation and optimization of data integration workflows.
- •Manage datasets on Snowflake and ensure governance best practices.
- •Define practices for model monitoring, retraining, and documentation.
- •Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects and create solutions.
- •Champion innovation by integrating emerging technologies into workflows.
- •Foster growth and knowledge sharing within the data science team.
Requirements
- •Masters OR Ph.D. with 15 years of experience, including 10 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Statistics, operational research, or a related field.
- •Hands-on experience with machine learning models, both supervised and unsupervised, in large-scale production settings.
- •Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.
- •Extensive experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, and Snowflake.
- •Track record of translating data into business impact and influencing senior stakeholders.
- •Strong foundation in data modeling and governance aligned with data warehouse best practices.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
