Job Description
The Senior Production Planner Scheduler at Sila is responsible for developing and executing detailed production schedules aligned with business goals, optimizing production flow, and managing inventory in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This strategic role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and expertise in planning methodologies to drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and implement strategic long-term production schedules and tactical daily plans.
- •Optimize production efficiency using advanced planning tools and ERP system enhancements.
- •Conduct proactive scenario planning and risk assessment to mitigate production bottlenecks.
- •Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate and improve production planning effectiveness.
- •Serve as a key liaison across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- •Mentor junior scheduling staff and develop documentation for continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- •Minimum of 10 years of experience in production planning and/or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- •Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing advanced planning methodologies and optimization algorithms.
- •Demonstrated ability to utilize ERP systems to manage production planning and scheduling processes.
- •Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvement initiatives.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- •Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- •Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving environment.
