Job Description
The role involves managing and supporting the Product Legal function at Samsara, focusing on intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and product counseling. The project manager will collaborate with legal and business teams to develop policies, oversee outside counsel, and drive complex projects in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of Samsara's intellectual property portfolio
- Develop, manage, and improve workflows related to intellectual property filings and budgets
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to protect new products and features
- Support vendor and software tool operations related to intellectual property management
- Assist with legal duties and projects as needed to support the broader Product legal team
Requirements
- 2 years experience at a law firm or in-house as a paralegal or administrative specialist in the area of intellectual property law, especially patents.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience independently driving complex projects from start to finish in a broad range of subject matters.
