Job Description
The Technical Product Marketing Manager at Canonical will develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the company's security and compliance products, leveraging deep technical knowledge and marketing expertise to create compelling messaging and drive product adoption in the enterprise IT sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for security and compliance products
- Track the competitive landscape and emerging trends for product differentiation
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps and customer use cases
- Translate technical product capabilities into clear messaging for key personas
- Own campaign and content planning for the security portfolio
- Use data and insights to optimize demand generation strategies
- Plan events, webinars, and support messaging for paid and social media promotion
Requirements
- Experience in a marketing function for enterprise IT products
- Passion for the cybersecurity industry and cybersecurity marketing
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to travel internationally four times a year for company events
