Job Description
The Associate role in Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Samsara involves collecting and analyzing information to inform investor narratives, managing relationships with investors and analysts, and supporting corporate development efforts including M&A and investments.
Responsibilities
- •Collect and analyze business and financial information to inform narratives for investors and analysts.
- •Support corporate development processes including sourcing, qualification, financial analyses, due diligence, and integration planning.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information related to quarterly financial performance.
- •Monitor and summarize industry trends and peer commentary by tracking sell-side research and financial news.
- •Establish understanding of industry trends, market participants, and competitive dynamics in physical operations and enterprise software markets.
- •Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles across the organization.
Requirements
- •1 year of experience in investment banking, equity research, or strategic finance.
- •Strong familiarity with financial modeling and valuation.
- •Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results.
- •Self-motivated with a history of taking on expanding roles.
- •Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- •Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, FP&A, Legal, Comms, and Marketing teams.
- •Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to investors and analysts.
- •Bachelor's degree.
- •Flexibility to travel as needed.
