Job Description
The Technical Program Manager for the FlashArray team will lead cross-functional teams in managing software releases, driving program objectives, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and quality in the data storage industry.
Responsibilities
- •Lead engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives.
- •Provide clarity on business objectives and drive program outcomes.
- •Identify and implement process changes for faster time to market.
- •Drive content, schedule, and overall delivery of the program.
- •Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases.
- •Develop release plans, schedules, and documentation with cross-functional teams.
- •Triage software release risks and issues, and mitigate them.
- •Continuously improve release management processes and tools.
- •Optimize dependencies across functions to enhance quality offerings.
- •Make trade-offs and drive accountability for program delivery.
- •Set program goals, track progress, and communicate with stakeholders.
- •Serve as the single point of contact for delivery decisions and communication.
- •Resolve issues across teams and improve team processes.
Requirements
- •7 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager.
- •MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred.
- •Experience managing software releases with predictable and frequent cadence.
- •Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including investigation, design, execution and delivering products to market on schedule, and addressing customer feedback in development.
- •Solid project and technical judgment with the ability to influence a growing organization.
- •Take ownership of the product experience, quality, and metrics.
- •Solid knowledge of end-to-end best practices.
- •Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups.
- •Ability to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies.
