Job Description

The job involves leading a team of Sales Development Representatives at Pure Storage, focusing on increasing sales productivity and generating qualified customer appointments. The role requires managing team performance, coaching staff, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of approximately 7 Sales Development Representatives
  • Manage team performance against quotas, forecasts, and key metrics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations on campaign design and execution
  • Drive TeleQualified Lead (TQL) meetings and bookings pipeline growth
  • Monitor daily activity of SDRs and conduct weekly 1-1s and team meetings
  • Coach and mentor team members on selling skills and activity planning
  • Establish and report on key metrics to measure inside sales performance
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to direct reports

Requirements

  • 2 years of Sales Management or supervisory experience in the storage or high-tech industry.
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience as an SDR and/or Inside sales rep.
  • Demonstrated experience building, training, handling, growing and developing a world-class inside sales team.
  • Consistent record of successful management of your team members.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise setting up of different inside sales tools, methodologies, technologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as SalesForce.com and Insidesales.com.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technology, database, and deep understanding of storage preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with selling through partners in an inside sales management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty.
