Job Description
The Account Executive at Pure Storage will be responsible for selling all-flash enterprise storage technology to large customers in Boston, managing relationships, and driving sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual quotas.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate overall strategy and relationship with assigned accounts
- Lead team-selling efforts to close business quarterly and annually
- Evangelize Pure's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
- Build and invest in customer relationships to drive satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans for new customer acquisition
- Drive and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet quotas
- Assess, plan, and manage territory for maximum revenue and efficiency
- Lead complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience selling into large customers in Boston, Massachusetts.
- 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10M per year in revenues.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, while fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business.
