Job Description
The role involves designing and developing scalable, reliable computing infrastructure for Nuro's autonomous driving applications, focusing on optimizing large-scale workloads in cloud and on-premise clusters while collaborating with various application teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable frameworks to orchestrate and execute large-scale workloads in cloud and on-premise clusters.
- Collaborate with application teams to provide robust tools and APIs for business-critical applications.
- Optimize workload efficiency and turnaround time by analyzing application context to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building and developing large-scale distributed applications, e.g., Kubernetes.
- Ability to turn high-level requirements into a detailed, cohesive system design.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment.
