Job Description
The job is for an experienced ServiceNow developer responsible for building and maintaining large ServiceNow applications, improving development practices, and providing solutions for business problems while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ServiceNow projects and enhancements.
- Develop workflows, business rules, reports, and automated solutions in ServiceNow.
- Perform unit testing and assist in deploying updates to the production environment.
- Document development and maintenance work for knowledge transfer.
- Provide basic support for the ServiceNow platform and resolve incident tickets.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews for continuous service improvement.
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements
- BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Must have 4 years of proven track record as a ServiceNow Developer with a deeper understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and trends.
- Must have hands-on implementation experience of ServiceNow ITSM, CSM and/or ITOM.
- Must have hands-on experience with ServiceNow Customizations, Code Promotion, Data Migration, ACL, Assignment Business Rule, Workflow, Flow Designer, UI Policy Action, Client Script, Transform Maps, Update Sets, Integration with 3rd party systems.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Must have the ability to be a team player and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
- Must have the ability to learn quickly and draw meaningful conclusions from independent research.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities and deliverables.
- Must have the ability to understand and analyze business requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
