Job Description
The Senior Commissions Analyst at Pure Storage is responsible for managing sales compensation and monthly commission calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with various teams. The role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer sales compensation plans accurately and on schedule using SAP Commissions CallidusCloud.
- Calculate and process monthly commission payments, ensuring alignment with compensation plans and payroll timelines.
- Partner with sales management and Sales Compensation teams to develop, modify, and implement variable compensation plans.
- Collaborate across functions Finance, HR, Sales Operations to maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
- Work with finance and auditors to support commission-related accruals and compliance requirements.
- Identify process improvements and recommend automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Respond to and resolve commission-related inquiries via ServiceNow.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to commissions.
- Generate ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in sales compensation, commissions, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP Commissions CallidusCloud, Xactly, Anaplan, or other leading incentive compensation applications.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and adapt to changing business needs.
