Job Description
The role involves leading a team of software developers at Pure Storage's Fusion team, focusing on innovative data management solutions that integrate security and observability. Candidates should have experience in technical management, software development, and project management within an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software developers in building the product.
- Collaborate with product management, QA, technical writing, and other software teams.
- Manage projects through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure delivery of products on schedule.
- Implement security hardening and observability practices.
- Bridge engineering practices with security or observability concerns.
- Commit to addressing customer needs and feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical management of 3 years.
- Extensive experience in software development.
- Proven track record of managing projects through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering products on schedule.
- A commitment to customer needs and feedback.
- Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in Software Security or Observability concepts.
- Ability to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure's policies.
