Job Description
The Senior Corporate Events Manager at Pure Storage will lead the planning and execution of large-scale international events, managing logistics, vendor relationships, and budgets to create exceptional attendee experiences. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- •Plan and execute multi-day conferences and roadshows, managing all aspects of event logistics.
- •Ensure flawless execution, quality of service, and timely delivery of all necessary components for each event.
- •Organize and lead planning meetings with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on objectives.
- •Source, negotiate, and oversee contracts with multiple vendors.
- •Develop, manage, and reconcile event budgets, ensuring financial accuracy.
- •Conceptualize unique event ideas that elevate the Pure Storage brand.
- •Serve as the primary point of contact during events, overseeing setup and execution.
- •Create and manage comprehensive event materials and resources.
- •Conduct post-event surveys and ROI analyses to measure success.
- •Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, senior executives, and external vendors.
Requirements
- •10 years in corporate events management, with proven experience managing large international programs up to 2,000 attendees and complex logistics.
- •Prior experience working in an in-house event management model with minimal reliance on third-party event management companies.
- •Proficiency with event tech platforms such as Cvent, Zoom, Marketo, and mobile event apps. Experience with Google Suite is essential.
- •Demonstrated ability to develop and reconcile large event budgets.
- •Skilled at balancing the needs of internal stakeholders, customers, and partners while meeting tight deadlines.
- •Willingness to travel up to 20% and adapt to working non-traditional hours, including weekends, as needed.
- •University College degree.
