Job Description
The Systems Engineering Director (SED) leads a technical sales team across Europe, focusing on pre-sales support and customer engagement while driving team development and aligning activities with company goals. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in storage solutions, and the ability to build relationships with strategic customers.
Responsibilities
- •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Systems Engineers (SEs).
- •Oversee the technical pre-sales process and ensure high-quality support to the sales team.
- •Engage with key customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- •Contribute to the development and execution of the regional sales strategy.
- •Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation and improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
- •Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or SE leadership role.
- •Strong technical background with expertise in storage solutions and related technologies.
- •Excellent leadership and team coaching and management skills.
- •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- •Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- •Understanding of customer needs, ideally having a Manufacturing or Automotive customer engagement background.
- •Willingness to work from the Munich office in compliance with Pure's policies.
