Job Description
The Customer Service Advisor will provide professional customer service by handling inquiries, payments, and complaints, while scheduling appointments for various services. The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- •Deliver professional customer service using various communication methods
- •Schedule appointments for warranty call outs, commissioning, assembly, and repairs
- •Resolve customer enquiries, payments, and complaints promptly and effectively
- •Answer large volumes of inbound phone calls within a set time frame
- •Record customer data accurately in accordance with legal requirements
Requirements
- •Experience working in an environment where customer service is paramount, with an excellent understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- •An excellent telephone manner with high attention to detail, a problem solving right first time approach, and confidence in dealing with email written queries.
- •Ability to manage escalations and handle difficult customer situations, remaining calm when dealing with emotional, difficult or distressed customers.
- •Proficient in using customer service software and CRM systems.
- •Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- •Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and customer demands.
- •Quick and accurate keyboard skills with experience of using databases.
- •IT literate in a range of Microsoft and Google applications.
- •Ability to accurately record customer data in accordance with legal requirements under the Data Protection Act.
