Job Description
The Engineering Manager at Celonis will lead a team of engineers to build and maintain reliable cloud systems, focusing on people management, technical leadership, and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the performance and support the career development of senior and upper-mid-level engineers
- Build and maintain an engineering culture of trust, ownership, and collaboration
- Participate in hiring and growing the team according to business needs
- Contribute technically within the team's scope
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other leads on goals and strategies
- Advocate for the team and provide visibility of their work
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software engineering
- 4 years of management or technical leadership experience
- Experience in building, leading, or operating large-scale, high-performance distributed systems in production
- Experience managing operationally heavy teams and willingness to share on-call responsibilities
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production across multiple infrastructures
- Commitment to a strong focus on the evolving needs of engineering teams
- Ability to diagnose production issues with a focus on correctness and efficiency
- Experience handling infrastructure with code for automation

Compensation/salary range: 169,650 - 249,690 USD
