Job Description
The Senior Director of Product Management will lead a team in developing and expanding next-generation AI and HPC solutions, driving innovation in data storage to meet the demands of AI-driven workloads. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and engaging with customers to shape the future of data-centric infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers.
- •Develop the strategy and roadmap for AI and HPC solutions.
- •Drive execution of the strategy across various deployment models.
- •Partner with cross-functional teams to develop AI and HPC-focused product initiatives.
- •Establish growth targets and objectives for AI and HPC solutions.
- •Assess the competitive and market landscape for AI and HPC.
- •Collaborate with stakeholders to define go-to-market models.
- •Gather customer feedback to align with requirements.
- •Conduct market and technology analyses for product development.
- •Engage with the executive team on growth initiatives.
- •Serve as a spokesperson for Pure Storage's AI and HPC solutions.
Requirements
- •10 years of Product Management experience with a focus on enterprise software, infrastructure or AI-related technologies.
- •5 years of experience in leadership managing teams of Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
- •Strong technical aptitude with expertise in AI/ML technologies, architectures, and frameworks.
- •Deep understanding of AI and HPC ecosystems, including knowledge of technologies such as GPU acceleration, distributed training, parallel file systems, and high-bandwidth networking (e.g., RDMA, InfiniBand).
- •Track record of driving innovation and successfully launching complex, market-leading products in large enterprise environments.
- •Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to identify use cases, resolve problems, and build trusted relationships with customers and partners.
- •Analytical, data-driven decision-maker with a bias for action and execution.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering concise and persuasive messaging.
- •Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- •Ability to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure's policies.
