Job Description
The role involves driving sales of Internet of Things solutions to small and medium-sized customers, focusing on building relationships and generating leads through strategic prospecting. The position requires managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, with an emphasis on understanding customer needs and delivering impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- •Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- •Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
- •Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
- •Handle and own transactional sales processes with high volume demands.
- •Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.
Requirements
- •1 year of experience in a closing sales role.
- •Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- •Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes.
- •Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- •Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales.
- •Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- •Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
