Job Description
The Junior Project Manager at Canonical will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by managing schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications while supporting the adoption of open source technologies across global enterprises.
Responsibilities
- •Ensure programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations
- •Identify key technical and project risks and issues, and implement mitigating actions
- •Maintain strong customer focus and collaborate with key stakeholders for successful outcomes
- •Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers
- •Support the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project
- •Advocate appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers
Requirements
- •Solid academic achievement in science, software engineering, and/or information technology field.
- •Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path.
- •Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
- •Demonstrated leadership skills in school or university life.
- •Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long.
