Job Description
The Material Flow Specialist at Redwood Materials will support the flow of raw materials and assist in production and shipping of finished goods, ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- •Follow all safety and PPE protocols
- •Clean powdered spills using PAPR and HEPA vacuums
- •Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- •Perform logistics tasks like picking, loading, receiving, and inventory control
- •Keep workspaces clean and organized using 5S practices
- •Help train and mentor team members
- •Enter data into Warehouse Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems
- •Submit maintenance requests and monitor equipment issues
Requirements
- •High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- •Ability to safely and consistently perform essential job functions in line with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards.
- •Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing routine physical tasks including bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- •Able to wear PPE such as Tyvek suits and Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) for extended periods up to a full shift.
- •Must pass a respiratory fit test and medical evaluation.
- •Comfortable climbing ladders and stairs regularly.
- •Ability to operate and train on equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other specialized machinery.
- •Willingness to work outdoors up to 50% of the time, in all weather conditions.
- •Exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes.
- •Ability to work in challenging environments for extended periods, including heights, stairs, and confined spaces.
- •Availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- •Work schedule: Sunday to Tuesday, every other Wednesday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Thursday to Saturday, every other Wednesday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- •Willingness to work outdoors up to 50% of the time, in all weather conditions
- •Exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes
- •Ability to work in challenging environments for extended periods, including heights, stairs, and confined spaces
- •May require availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
