Job Description
The Site Lead Supervisor at Origis Energy is responsible for the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants, ensuring safety and professionalism while troubleshooting and repairing equipment. This role includes managing site safety programs, training Solar Technicians, and maintaining documentation and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain utility-scale solar power plants according to established standards and procedures.
- Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Test installed equipment to ensure proper working order, including daily mechanical and electrical inspections.
- Document work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules.
- Manage Equipment Maintenance and Tool Control Programs.
- Oversee Site Safety and Accident Prevention Programs.
- Run the Area or Site Training Program.
- Maintain inventory control of assigned equipment.
- Ensure high quality control on provided tools, vehicles, and materials.
- Train, mentor, and develop Solar Technicians.
- Maintain the Plant's vegetation requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Driver s License REQUIRED
- Inverter Specialist or Solar Technician with 3 years experience
- Knowledgeable of renewable energy peculiarities expertise in DC array technology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform basic electrical calculations, read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $30 - $45 per hour
Work schedule: May require working on weekends and holidays, including on-call service availability
