Job Description
The Head of Supply Chain Products will oversee and optimize the entire product supply chain for Redwood Materials, focusing on building a new high-volume product line, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. This role requires strong leadership and expertise in supply chain management, particularly in the context of power electronics and sustainable materials.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and optimize the entire product supply chain
- •Develop partnerships with key suppliers for a new high-volume product line
- •Build a robust purchasing process from quotation to supplier qualification
- •Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and logistics
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges
- •Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- •Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team
- •Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain efficiency
Requirements
- •7 years of relevant procurement background
- •Experience in supplier management and operations
- •Hands-on experience in developing power electronics supply chains in Asia and North America
- •Bachelor's degree in engineering, MS in Supply Chain, or MBA
- •Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically
- •Experience in managing teams of 5 or more
- •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- •Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to supply chain operations
