Job Description
The Battery Pricing Analyst at Redwood Materials will lead the pricing strategy for feedstock in the company's recycling process, while also becoming an expert in battery market intelligence. This role involves analyzing market trends, developing pricing models, and creating business reports to support the company's growth in the electric vehicle supply chain.
Responsibilities
- •Revamp feedstock pricing model for spot and long-term purchase agreements
- •Monitor market intelligence reports for supply-demand commodity price trends
- •Track and map out partnerships within the electric vehicle supply chain
- •Understand current and forecasted market size and supply-demand balance for key battery components
- •Build business reports and dashboards, handle ad-hoc data requests, and track KPIs
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or similar.
- •3 years experience in business data analytics, business product management, consulting, or corporate strategy.
- •Strong analytical skills to interpret data analysis and identify gaps in quantitative analysis.
- •Ability to distill data into actionable recommendations.
- •Comfortable in a startup environment and able to work independently as a motivated self-starter.
- •Ability to foster and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
