Job Description
The role involves supporting production operations by fabricating, assembling, and wiring utility control panels, while collaborating with a small team in a fast-paced production facility. Opportunities for growth into engineering and field services are available.
Responsibilities
- •Interpret, analyze and provide constructive feedback on product designs and parts lists
- •Gather parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials
- •Perform wire cutting, stripping, labeling, drilling, tapping, and bolting according to specifications
- •Assemble electrical components and fasten parts and sub-assemblies
- •Conduct power testing utilizing knowledge of voltage, amps, and loads
- •Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations
Requirements
- •High School Diploma or equivalent
- •Valid Driver License and clean driving record
- •Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- •Experience working with hand tools and assembly
- •Familiarity with NEC codes
- •Basic understanding of electrical single-line diagrams
- •Strong mechanical aptitude
- •General computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office
- •Ability to operate hand tools, semi-automatic equipment, pallet jack, and forklift (training provided)
- •Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
