Job Description
The Entry-level Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist will assist with environmental engineering tasks related to site investigation and remediation projects, working alongside experienced professionals to address water and environmental challenges. Responsibilities include field investigations, data analysis, and preparation of technical reports, with approximately 50% travel expected to project sites in the Western United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with environmental engineering tasks for site investigation and remediation projects
- Support the characterization of contaminated sites
- Design and operate remediation systems
- Monitor remediation systems and manage data tracking and reporting
- Conduct field investigations and develop work plans
- Analyze and report data
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory documents
- Oversee monitoring well installation, drilling, and construction activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Strong field and writing skills to support a wide range of science and engineering projects.
- Excellent verbal communication skills combined with leadership ability.
- Ability to work both independently and within teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to project sites in the Western United States.
- Experience with environmental engineering tasks for site investigation and remediation projects.
