Job Description
This position involves supporting complex service contracts for GIS software, conducting risk analysis, leading contract negotiations, and providing guidance on federal and commercial contracting processes. The role requires managing contract administration, developing mitigation strategies, and collaborating with diverse teams to enhance workflow efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- •Support the contracting process through pre-proposal review, proposal development, contract formation and negotiation, contract administration, and contract close out
- •Manage complex contracts administration workload focused on federal agencies and prime contractors
- •Provide guidance to contract project staff on federal or commercial contracting processes and procedures
- •Oversee application of contract terms and conditions and corporate policy regarding federal contracting activities
- •Understand FAR DFAR requirements, GSA contracting, and large systems integrator terms and conditions
- •Review technical scopes of work in relation to contract terms and conditions and identify areas of risk
- •Apply negotiation and administration skills related to all aspects of contracting
- •Coordinate with federal compliance entities as required
- •Provide guidance to management on business and policy decisions
Requirements
- •8 years of progressively more complex contract administration experience
- •Demonstrated professional experience successfully negotiating contracts
- •Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a fast-paced work environment
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills
- •Ability to work with a diverse team and a variety of project management team members
- •US Citizenship and ability and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance
- •Bachelor's in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Political Science, or related field
