Job Description
The role involves providing technical due diligence for carbon projects globally, requiring expertise in areas such as land-use change and reforestation, along with research and analysis to assess project risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical due diligence for carbon projects.
- Gather and synthesize relevant data and industry trends.
- Provide subject matter expertise on project components.
- Engage with project teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits and assist with evaluations.
- Deliver comprehensive written reports and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in technical due diligence, impact assessments, or feasibility studies.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Biomass sourcing, Afforestation, Reforestation, Revegetation, ARR, Agroforestry, Improved Forest Management (IFM), Biochar.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a project-based environment.
