Job Description
The Sr. Accountant will manage the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local statutory reporting for international entities, while supporting audits and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- •Close subsidiary financial statements on a monthly basis in accordance with US GAAP.
- •Review and analyze financial statements for compliance with local statutory reporting.
- •Support month and year-end close processes and assist with annual audit activities.
- •Complete external audit requests by analyzing general ledger accounts.
- •Identify and support continual process and procedure improvements.
Requirements
- •8 years of relevant experience including experience with general ledger functions and month and year-end close process.
- •Bachelor's in Accounting, or in a related field with an Accounting Certificate or qualification, which meets the California CPA eligibility requirements.
- •Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- •Ability to work independently.
- •Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results.
- •Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team.
- •High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines.
