Job Description
The job involves participating in various warehouse operations such as order processing, inventory control, and material handling, while utilizing equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product operations work areas including order processing and inventory control
- Prepare and apply labels and documentation to packages and shipments
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
- Assemble products or materials from instructions and drawings
- Pick and pack materials according to transfer order instructions
- Participate in cycle count and compliance reporting
- Perform data entry and record keeping into various computer systems
- Use effective communication to provide status updates
Requirements
- 1 year of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a warehouse environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Computer experience able to effectively use email, scanner, and network systems
- Clerical skills to include data entry, typing, filing, copying, and email
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and with others as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
