Job Description
The Solar Programs Project Manager II - Consumer Protection at Energy Solutions will oversee consumer protection initiatives within the Illinois Shines program, ensuring that customer rights are upheld as they transition to solar energy. This role involves managing complaints, investigating program violations, and developing educational materials to support program participants.
Responsibilities
- •Apply and convey complex processes, policies, and expectations of Program stakeholders
- •Evaluate participating customer complaints and facilitate resolution with solar companies
- •Investigate allegations of program violations and draft disciplinary-related letters
- •Manage special projects related to consumer protection issues
- •Follow established SOPs for complaint resolution and communicate with solar vendors and customers
- •Document statistics and contribute to disciplinary and complaint reporting
- •Develop educational materials on consumer protection requirements and best practices
- •Contribute to educational workshops on consumer protection topics
- •Manage the design and implementation of multiple projects
- •Communicate project progress to management and clients
Requirements
- •A bachelor s degree
- •Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in consumer protection, legal, investigations, compliance, and/or customer service
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills
- •Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
- •Extensive experience using Microsoft Office (Office365) and SharePoint
- •A one-page cover letter will be required explaining your interest in the company and the role; the use of AI is prohibited in the drafting
- •Ability to communicate project progress to management and clients
- •Understanding of Program priorities and adjusting workload accordingly
- •Ability to investigate allegations of program violations and make recommendations for potential disciplinary action
