Job Description
The IT Support Technician will provide technical support for manufacturing-related IT systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing system maintenance, and training staff on IT systems in both English and Spanish, contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for manufacturing-related IT systems
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on manufacturing systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new equipment and software
- Participate in the document management system for SOPs and knowledge base
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand IT needs
- Provide training for manufacturing staff on IT systems and MES functions
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an I.T. support role.
- Bilingual English Spanish required.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, knowledge of network systems, and experience with manufacturing technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain and write about technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
