Job Description
The Project Administrator at Blue Ridge Power will manage administrative and compliance tasks related to solar projects, ensuring adherence to prevailing wage laws and the Inflation Reduction Act. This role involves coordinating payroll, supporting project teams, and acting as a liaison between project sites and corporate offices.
Responsibilities
- •Prepare periodic payroll-related reports, analyses, and statements tied to project requirements.
- •Manage and oversee compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act IRA and prevailing wage laws.
- •Use specialized software for certified payroll and compliance documentation.
- •Conduct reviews of sub-contractor's Certified Payroll Registers and compliance documentation.
- •Coordinate and track all prevailing wage projects within LPC Tracker.
- •Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Teams to ensure data accuracy and timely submission.
- •Support LCP tracker training for subcontractors and internal employees.
- •Assist in designing processes to enhance workflow.
- •Provide weekly updates to the direct supervisor regarding compliance.
- •Act as HR liaison to report on-site hires, terminations, and performance management.
- •Manage pre-boarding and orientation.
- •Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- •Keep an updated record of the Goods Receipt process.
- •Support the site team with various reporting needs.
Requirements
- •4 years experience in business administration.
- •2 years experience within finance and/or accounting, or payroll administrative roles or similar experience.
- •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
- •Must possess and retain a current valid driver's license.
- •Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment Visa.
- •Must be able to sit or stand at a desk and utilize a computer for extended periods.
- •Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- •Must always wear personal protective equipment while on the project site, i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, safety harnesses, ear protection, fire retardant clothing, as required and respirators when required.
