Job Description
The Software Reliability Engineer at Esri is responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of the ArcGIS Enterprise product by gathering user requirements, conducting software testing, and leading cross-team efforts to enhance product quality and disaster recovery features.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather user requirements for software reliability and availability
- Lead cross-team efforts for reliability features and requirements
- Create test plans, automate tests, and evaluate results
- Ensure defects are addressed in software testing
- Communicate with users through documentation and presentations
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years in a position with operational responsibilities, such as monitoring, maintaining, and deploying enterprise software
- Experience in software testing
- Fundamental understanding of web services, such as REST and others
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a complex backend-server stack, preferably with ArcGIS Enterprise
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and applications, math, GIS, geography, or related field
- Existing work authorization for India
