Job Description
The Data Analyst at Energy Solutions will analyze data related to energy efficiency projects, develop analytical models and dashboards, and prepare reports to inform business decisions, all while contributing to the company's mission of promoting a decarbonized grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and own analytical models and dashboards for clients
- Prepare reports that communicate trends, patterns, and forecasts
- Translate quantitative data into visual reports for non-technical audiences
- Ensure quality and accuracy of data analyses and establish QA systems
- Assist with the development and tracking of key performance metrics
- Support data engineering team in troubleshooting program data issues
- Coordinate cross-functionally to support data analytics and streamline pipelines
- Identify improvements in data analytics processes and tools
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in related work.
- Experience developing analytical dashboards using BI tools, preferably Tableau.
- Proficiency with SQL or other database querying language.
- Working knowledge of building analytical models using a programming language, such as R or Python, preferably with Python.
- Knowledge of basic data warehousing principles.
- Knowledge of ETL design.
- Capable of working independently and working with non-technical managers.
- Can work with fast or changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
