Job Description
The Solar Programs Senior Project Manager at Energy Solutions will lead the implementation of processes related to contracting for Renewable Energy Certificates, driving the adoption of distributed and community solar. This role involves managing project deliverables, facilitating communication with stakeholders, and conducting data analysis to support the company's mission of advancing a decarbonized grid.
Responsibilities
- •Manage overall direction, execution, quality control, and completion of project deliverables
- •Facilitate changes in requirements, documentation, processes, and systems
- •Communicate project progress to management, clients, and utility partners
- •Interact with customers, clients, utility partners, and external collaborators
- •Conduct robust data analysis
- •Track industry trends and market changes impacting DERs
- •Organize and facilitate meetings and collaboration sessions
- •Conduct program status meetings and resolve escalations
Requirements
- •A technical bachelor’s degree in an energy-related discipline preferred.
- •A minimum of 8 years of work experience (graduate school years applicable).
- •A minimum of 5 years project management experience.
- •Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis including expert experience in Excel.
- •Demonstrated ability to conduct large collaborative facilitated sessions.
- •Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- •Demonstrated outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management and mitigation.
- •Ability to manage tactical and strategic tasks.
- •Ability to interact professionally with clients and to serve as the primary point of client contact for some projects.
- •Ability to work, push forward, and thrive juggling many activities and communications.
- •Extensive experience using Microsoft Office (Office365, SharePoint, OneNote).
- •Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is a precondition of employment.
