Job Description
The role involves negotiating and managing licensing agreements for technology and data within Esri's Business Management division, supporting the organization's strategic objectives and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective contract management.
Responsibilities
- •Negotiate and manage contractor, technology, and data licensing agreements
- •Drive mutually beneficial agreements and refine contract clauses
- •Ensure effective contract management by tracking obligations and milestones
- •Leverage project management expertise to align contracts with business objectives
- •Evaluate contract proposals to identify risks and opportunities
- •Collaborate with business managers and finance teams to oversee contract requirements
- •Foster a team-oriented environment by coordinating strategies across business units
Requirements
- •2 years of experience in software, content, IP licensing with a focus on business management
- •Bachelor's degree in Business, GIS, Information Science, or a related field
- •Ability to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows
- •Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage moderate risk projects with diverse scope
- •Emphasize attention to detail and accuracy while possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
- •Exhibit the ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems with little direct supervision
- •Showcase strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, along with outstanding relationship-building abilities
