Job Description
The Procurement Sourcing Manager for Strategic Procurement Wind is responsible for managing vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing contract administration specifically for wind industry projects, while collaborating with various internal teams to support Clearway's renewable energy development and construction efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requests for proposals and vendor selection for wind EPC agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and manage ongoing contract administration.
- Support bidding and contracting efforts for balance of plant services.
- Document price forecasts for BOP costs and key commodities.
- Analyze market trends to inform procurement strategies.
- Ensure alignment across major project agreements to mitigate risks.
- Review contracts to ensure clarity and understanding of scope.
- Interface with EPC contractors for market intelligence.
- Perform EPC performance reviews to assess risks and opportunities.
- Manage the development of RFP documentation and bidding strategies.
- Evaluate bid responses for compliance and consistency.
- Negotiate EPC agreements regarding scope, price, and terms.
- Track and report on cost movements during negotiations.
- Engage with cross-functional teams on equipment supply issues.
- Support internal resolution on material changes to agreements.
- Assist with project financing process and inputs from teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in contract management, procurement, engineering, or related field required.
- Eight or more years of wind EPC contracting experience and in-depth understanding of turbine technology.
- Repower contracting and negotiations experience in Wind industry projects.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Project management skills working with large-scale wind development projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of contract language.
- Proficient in MS SharePoint, MS Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and document control.
- A minimum of two or more years of solar and BESS or other related experience.

Salary Range: 106,000 - 138,000 USD
