Job Description
The role involves leading the delivery of renewable energy projects at Akaysha Energy, focusing on project management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- •Lead the application of WHSE culture in all projects and activities
- •Assist in recruitment and selection of project staff and management of multi-discipline project teams
- •Negotiate key EPC contracts and provide input to OEM supplier and other contracts
- •Manage day-to-day project agreements including SFA, PPA, EPC, Suppliers, and Grid Connection
- •Oversee project cost schedule and coordination of project workstreams
- •Develop project management and execution plans including schedules and risk registers
- •Prepare and present project reports on safety, progress, costs, and key metrics
- •Ensure compliance with planning permits and conditions of approval
- •Manage external stakeholder relationships and engage with the local community
- •Participate in Scope of Works and Contractor Risk Assessment reviews
Requirements
- •Minimum 10 years experience working in a similar position in the energy sector.
- •Experience in project management with an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment.
- •Management and reporting of budgetary requirements.
- •Management of complex infrastructure contracts.
- •Negotiation with major stakeholders.
- •Experience in a high-pressure environment.
- •Strong analytical ability.
- •Extensive contracts management experience.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- •Must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status, or have existing AU working rights.
