Job Description
The Regional Manager will oversee the operation of PV and Battery Storage plants, acting as the main contact for vendors and service providers while ensuring safety and maximizing system output through collaboration with various internal teams.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee vendors and service providers for PV and Battery Energy Storage Plants
- •Ensure safety of site personnel by enforcing corporate safety culture and policies
- •Proactively address issues impacting plant operations
- •Collaborate with technicians and field engineers for maintenance resource allocation
- •Manage a network of vendors and determine the need for additional vendors
- •Coordinate with teams to resolve equipment outages quickly
- •Maintain high availability and site performance with engineering support
- •Support Asset Management team in project budget creation and maintenance
- •Drive efficiencies and understand costs between plants
- •Support construction, commissioning, and testing of future projects
- •Assist in maintaining proper spare parts with Maintenance Engineering Team
- •Mentor personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- •4 years experience managing PV or BESS facilities or 10 years experience in onsite PV and BESS operations with other management experience.
- •Strong understanding of renewable energy regulations and compliance requirements.
- •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- •Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical co-workers and vendors.
- •Ability to lead and manage a team.
- •Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
