Job Description
The Strategy Intern MBA will support senior leadership at Peak Energy in Singapore by contributing to strategic planning, market analysis, and investment decisions within the renewable energy sector, while gaining exposure to critical business initiatives and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to medium-term strategic plan and business model validation
- Conduct market research, policy analysis, and competitive benchmarking
- Monitor and analyze trends in renewables and regulatory environment
- Prepare materials and analyses for investment committees
- Track and analyze asset portfolio performance and financial metrics
- Develop internal dashboards and strategic reporting tools
- Support assessment of emerging growth areas and differentiation opportunities
- Develop board-ready materials for new business cases
- Conduct due diligence and analysis around exit opportunities and fundraising
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA or similar graduate degree
- Strong background in strategy, consulting, finance, or corporate development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear, concise, executive-level materials
- Independent, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Passion for clean energy, climate solutions, and impactful business
