Job Description
The Senior Contracts Specialist will manage and negotiate complex contracts with commercial customers and government entities, ensuring alignment with Esri's business objectives while mentoring team members and streamlining processes. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle a high volume of agreements autonomously.
Responsibilities
- •Manage a workload of heavily negotiated contract templates and customer templates
- •Review, draft, and negotiate complex cloud, data, software, services, and partner channel agreements
- •Respond promptly to contract work requests and provide quality support to customers and suppliers
- •Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract terms align with business objectives
- •Anticipate contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies
- •Identify opportunities to streamline negotiations and educate stakeholders
- •Develop expertise and mentor contracts specialists in drafting and negotiating
- •Maintain high ethical standards and comply with company policies and regulations
- •Aid in the creation and update of contract templates for products and programs
Requirements
- •8 years of experience negotiating and drafting agreements
- •2 years of experience negotiating technology and service agreements
- •Superior negotiation techniques and drafting skills
- •Mastery of written and verbal communications
- •Detail oriented, well organized, analytical, quick learner
- •Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced environment
- •Diligent and proactive with sound business judgment and strategic thinking
- •Ability to manage a significant volume of agreements in a timely manner
- •Excellent Microsoft Office, computer skills and knowledge of Apttus now Conga or Salesforce experience
- •Bachelor's in business, contracts administration, legal studies, or a related field
