Job Description
The Product Engineer at Esri will design, build, and deliver geospatial AI tools, models, and libraries, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to enhance product quality and user experience through documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- •Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on the design, development, testing, documentation, and release of tools, APIs, and pretrained models for geospatial AI
- •Develop and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, and verify code changes and bug fixes
- •Troubleshoot and triage customer issues and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement
- •Develop samples, tutorials, documentation, blog posts, and presentations of product features
- •Develop pre-trained geospatial AI models for imagery, 3D datasets, and text
- •Review and analyze test results, report status on software quality and stability, and certify software, SDK, and AI model quality
Requirements
- •2 to 6 years of industry experience in software testing, development, or technical writing
- •Proven data science and AI skills with Python, PyTorch and Jupyter Notebooks
- •Experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation framework
- •Fundamental understanding of machine learning and deep learning
- •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- •Effective project management, time management, and organizational skills
- •Excellent technical writing skills and experience authoring samples, blog posts, and product documentation
- •Bachelor's in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related field
- •Existing work authorization for India
