Job Description
The Discipline Manager for Power and Energy at Atwell, LLC will lead technical design efforts in renewable energy projects, specifically focusing on Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems. This role involves managing a team of engineers, overseeing project development, and providing expert guidance to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- •Serve as a subject matter expert on Solar PV, Wind, and BESS projects
- •Lead the technical design efforts across renewable energy projects
- •Manage and mentor a small team of engineers
- •Oversee project development from concept through completion
- •Collaborate with the VP of Power and Energy on strategies and goals
- •Provide technical oversight and review project deliverables
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- •Minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects
- •Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
- •Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing project deliverables
- •Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously across the United States
