Job Description
The Senior Associate will support the Utility Power Projects team at Peak Energy by conducting financial modeling, due diligence, and M&A activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The role requires up to 6 years of experience in investment evaluation and financial analysis within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence for project financing.
- Lead M&A workstreams focused on investment evaluation and due diligence.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and contribute to deal structuring.
- Manage negotiations for transaction documents including joint venture agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field is a prerequisite.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting due diligence for renewable project financing is mandatory.
- Proven track record in creating and leveraging financial models for M&A activity, specifically within the utility-scale renewable energy domain.
- 4-6 years work experience in the investments space for infrastructure, particularly at the asset level.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis is paramount.
