Job Description
The Geospatial Data Scientist Intern at Sylvera will work within the Applied Solutions Team to build and integrate datasets into products that support clients in making effective investments in carbon credits and climate solutions. This hands-on role involves solving real customer problems in a fast-paced environment while contributing to projects that shape the future of climate action.
Responsibilities
- •Build new datasets for carbon credits and CDR.
- •Integrate datasets into minimum-viable-products or custom solutions.
- •Collaborate with engineers and analysts to solve customer problems.
- •Contribute to projects shaping the future of climate solutions.
Requirements
- •Currently enrolled in a degree program related to data science, geospatial analysis, environmental science, or a related field.
- •Strong analytical skills and experience with data manipulation and analysis.
- •Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- •Familiarity with geospatial data analysis tools and software.
- •Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- •Eagerness to learn and contribute to projects related to climate solutions.
- •Willingness to physically attend all 1-2-1, retros, and divisional meetings in person in London, Old Street.
