Job Description
A Talent Development Specialist II is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training programs to enhance employee skills across all organizational levels, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess training needs by collaborating with SMEs and leadership to identify skill gaps and translate knowledge into learning solutions
- Design, develop, and update training materials for in-person, virtual, and e-learning formats
- Facilitate and deliver training sessions to individuals and groups across all professional levels
- Manage logistics of training programs, including scheduling, materials, communication, and space reservation
- Track and document employee training progress and completion in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Partner with department leaders to ensure training initiatives align with business goals and organizational strategy
- Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure consistent implementation of talent development programs across international locations
Requirements
- Minimum of two 2 years experience in Talent Development, corporate training, or instructional design with a company of at least 200 full-time employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience and comfort in public speaking and professional presentation.
- Strong computer and technological skills, with demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex projects and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously across multiple time zones and countries.
- A polished, professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively and build rapport with all levels of staff and management.
- Demonstrated ability to use content creation tools, specifically Articulate 360 or similar e-learning authoring tools, PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Travel within the US and internationally, approximately 5-10% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in Workforce Development, Learning Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or at least three 3 years of total professional experience if non-degreed.
- Related work experience of 2 years in a similar capacity.
