Job Description
The Senior Engineer - Procurement is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for materials needed in the manufacturing of industrial combustion and pollution control systems, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance to support project execution and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials and bought-out items required for manufacturing industrial combustion and pollution control systems.
- Manage RFQ issuance, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, purchase order finalization, and material expediting.
- Ensure timely availability of technically compliant materials while adhering to cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, planning, quality, estimation, and project teams to support project execution.
- Mitigate supply-chain risks and optimize procurement costs.
- Maintain compliance with approved vendors and international codes and standards relevant to combustion and fired-equipment applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and provide accurate cost inputs for bids and proposals.
Requirements
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of engineering materials, international codes and standards, and supplier capabilities relevant to combustion and fired-equipment applications.
- The candidate must be responsible for executing end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials and bought-out items required for the fabrication and delivery of industrial combustion and pollution control systems.
- The candidate must ensure the timely availability of technically compliant materials while maintaining strict adherence to cost, quality, and delivery objectives in line with project schedules and organizational budgets.
- The candidate must manage RFQ issuance, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, purchase order finalization, and material expediting.
- The candidate must support project execution by mitigating supply-chain risks, optimizing procurement costs, maintaining approved vendor compliance, and upholding Zeeco’s ethical standards and performance-driven culture.
- The candidate must contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and support accurate cost inputs for future bids and proposals.
