Job Description

The QHSE Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental policies for global field services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety and quality across engineering and construction projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage Global Field Services HSE policies and procedures
  • Ensure organizational compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Identify risks and promote safety, health, quality, and environmental best practices
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and field teams to improve safety and environmental performance
  • Coordinate HSE management systems and documentation for the global field service team in the EMEA region
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor safety and environmental compliance
  • Plan and execute safety training and awareness programs

Requirements

  • Overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the Global Field Services Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that the organisation complies with legal and regulatory standards related to health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Working closely with project managers, construction managers, and global field services teams to identify risks, ensure compliance, and improve practices related to safety, health, quality, and environmental performance.
  • Responsible for the development, management, and co-ordination of HSE management systems and documentation for the global field service team within the EMEA region.
  • Spending approximately 50% of work time on construction sites and 50% in the office for planning and administrative tasks.
  • Possessing the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, including adapting and changing plans at short notice, and working on weekends and evenings on occasion.
