Job Description
A Manufacturing Business Analyst at Zeeco provides financial and operational support to the Supply Chain Team by analyzing expenses, tracking key metrics, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and project accounting to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational expenses (OPEX) and variances to budget
- Track and report key metrics, KPIs, and financial results
- Develop annual budgets and burden rates with management
- Prepare and review journal entries and account balances for accuracy
- Analyze transactions including labor, materials, inventory, and accounts payable
- Track capital spending against approved budgets
- Support project accountants with shipments and invoice reviews
- Generate ad hoc management reports
- Review and code invoices for labor and consumables
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 5 Years experience in Managerial Accounting including Manufacturing job order costing preferred
- Strong analytical skill set with ability to defend positions with logical reasoning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including frequent communication with upper management
- Very strong Excel skills including modeling and data manipulation
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Focus on excellence of deliverables in terms of quality, presentation, and simplicity
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy
- Team player with ability to self-manage
- Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
